NU – Season Tree

A multiple Story Mural That Grows With the Community.

In the heart of District U (Vlaardingen), Riceau created a monumental mural: Season Tree. A three-story-tall artwork that connects people, place and nature. The goal was clear: use art to help bridge the transition between old and new residents. A visual gesture that makes space feel shared.
The mural features a towering tree, stretching across the full height of the building. Surrounding it are animals spotted in the neighborhood, making the painting feel native. An artwork in harmony with its environment. Each story tells the tale of a new season.
